Because sometimes I need a reminder, how about you?

I can’t count how many times I’ve put the face of my real enemy on the wrong person. I mean, it was convenient. It was the easy thing to do. It “seemed” like they were my enemy because their words or actions were behind the hurt I felt. It made perfect sense to me. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Our real enemy is also the same one who seeks to divide by stealing, killing and destroying. (see John 10:10) Based on that fact, who’s really at work⁉️ he also uses PEOPLE to do his dirty work...

God’s Word tells us that our battle is not with each other but it’s all spiritual. AND He gave us the weapons to WIN every battle we’d ever have. 📖

To be honest, I forgot. 💭

Here’s something to consider:

No matter who is in the White House 🏛 or what’s going on around us GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE. 👑 He never left His seat and He never will. (#PERIODT)

I allowed my emotions to crowd out the truth for way too long. But my REDEEMER lives, RULES AND REIGNS SUPREME. I had to remind myself of that truth too. 💡💡💡

Let’s be real, who keeps their word BUT GOD⁉️

Who is perfect BUT GOD⁉️

Who can help us BUT GOD⁉️

Who can save us BUT GOD⁉️

I can’t rely on the next whomever or whatever because they can’t do for me what only God can and if I’m not “seeing” God do what only He can do then maybe it’s time I refocus. 👀

Too much time spent apart from God will cause me to be blinded to the things of God. What we behold the most is what controls us most; emotions and all. #media. 🖥 📺 🗞

ASK ME HOW I KNOW. I’ve sat in my feelings quite a bit this week...🙄

In the heat of it all, never forget WHO you belong to. God knows the future 🕰 and He’s not surprised by anything that’s happened. And guess what, if we’re with God and if He’s with us then we WIN.🏆

Didn’t mean to write a storybook. 📚 I guess that’s what happens when you stay silent, 🤐observe and think a lot. 🤔

Remember who your real enemy is. (see 2 Corinthians 10:3-5) I was asking where God was but it turns out He resists the proud. 😳 (see James 4:6) So be humble. Pray.🧎🏽‍♀️And watch God heal our land 🌎 how only He can. (see 2 Chronicles 7:14)

Everything will be OK. 💗 that is all. ✌🏽

#ootd when the weather permits. Although summer is still my favorite, I’m learning to accept fall and slightly cooler temperatures too. I mean, I get to wear cute sweatshirts and jeans. #winwin 🥰

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY. 🎂🎁🎉

I’ve always found it hard to go around saying it’s my birthday—well since I’ve gotten older. Up until I was 18 I walked around with birthday pins and shouted it from the rooftops. Now; not so much.

I guess I don’t ever want to come off as conceited and I feel like being showy with my birthday can come off as such. The crazy thing is sometimes I get in my feelings when people forget as though the world—or their world—revolves around me, which defeats the purpose of me biting my tongue about it being my birthday. 😏

I think I overthought it. And I think I’m over and done with caring about what others would think of me—people may think something anyway.

All that to say, yayyyy!!! It’s my birthday!! Well, the end of it! But make no mistake, I WILL be celebrating all month long!! 😘😘
