The answer to every problem we’ve ever had and will ever have: JESUS.⠀

I realize to many He’s a foreign concept. To others it’s harder to believe when belief for many has been based on facts and things we can see and/or prove. For me the proof I’ve needed has been proven. ⠀
⠀
Like the many times I’ve felt hopeless, have wanted to give up and quit and He’s sent people at just the right time to say just the right thing be it friends or even STRANGERS. The things He’s saved me FROM incurable diseases and all. The times I’ve felt worthless and unworthy and even turned from Him but He’s ALWAYS CALLED ME HIS OWN AND LOVED ME ANYWAY! The times I’ve been jobless and felt UNQUALIFIED and He’s gotten me every single job I’ve ever had at just the right time. Jobs many would say my race and gender should or could disqualify me from. 😏⠀

The times I had NO FRIENDS and felt ALONE and HE BECAME MY FRIEND in the midst of it all and STILL SENT ME SOME OF THE BEST FRIENDS I’VE EVER HAD! #THANKFUL⠀

What He did for me He’ll do for ALL OF US. His sincerity is questioned on behalf of a people who want to get rid of Him. I don’t know about you but I will NOT go where I’m not wanted yet still He’s so good! We questioned what He hasn’t done without realizing ALL HE HAS DONE! ⠀

In a time where we want to put a price on everything and get receipts or get all the tea and #staywoke. I’m desperate to make sure that in my quest for what’s right that I’m not partnering or playing into the hands of my enemy. Satan, yes. But he has friends too, ya know. 😉 I realize this is NOT the most popular thing to say & I pray insta doesn’t shut me down. But something has to be said and I thought maybe I’d #SPEAKup and I HOPE that maybe it’ll cause us to ALL think and DIG deep for all the tea and all the things. ⠀

If we want PROOF and FACTS, let’s go get what we’re looking for BEFORE we jump up and REACT. There’s SO MUCH MORE TO WHAT WE SEE. A divided government can’t heal or unite a hurting nation—JESUS CAN and WILL if you let Him! I’ll end it here. I promise I love you and EVERYONE—so does JESUS, have a beautiful day. 😘⠀

I’ve been on a much needed sabbatical of sorts t

I’ve been on a much needed sabbatical of sorts the past few weeks. I was blessed to spend last weekend in Branson with some sweet friends as somewhat of a grand finale before my next adventure. To say this time was much needed would be an understatement. With all the food, the fun, the laughs, the grace—and mercy for my failures!!-the prayers and all the things. I truly had an amazing time and am realizing how blessed I am to call these two not only friends but sisters.⠀

I’ve probably said this many times before but, in the words of a theme song from that one show I like, thank you for being a friend! Until next time...💗😘⠀

Transitions can be a bit unnerving; especially if you have to do it by yourself. But THANKFULLY, I have God and the AMAZING people He’s blessed me with so, I’m never alone. I’ve heard a lot about social media being a #hig

I’ve heard a lot about social media being a #highlightreel that we showcase the best moments of our lives. The best parties, vacations, photoshoots, etc. Well, I thought I’d break the mold today... I mean, I don’t really prefer this picture BUT I kept it because it’s funny and I love the memories it holds. I can honestly recall this day, where I was and who took the photo. While it’s most certainly NOT a picture I’d normally post—you’ve seen my feed—my hope is to lighten the tension and bring some normalcy (facial expression and all 🤣) to social media.

AND to remind you that we’ve all been through tough stuff—#helloLIFE—but just like before, this too shall pass. Different battle but not really. We are truly resilient and when we choose to take a moment to look away and trust that GOD IS GOOD AND STILL WORKS THINGS OUT FOR OUR GOOD, we’ll find the hope, peace and strength that we really need. It may not look like it today BUT better days are ahead! #justkeepswimming
